Services for Treating Skin of Color
Acne: A vary common condition in dermatology. At Adara Medical Spa, we offer a wide range of safe treatments such as chemical peels, Aerolase Neo Clear and topical skin treatments. We will address your concerns by performing a thorough skin examination, and will customize a skin care plan.
Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) for hair loss & microneedling: A state-of-the-art technique to assist individuals experiencing hair loss. This treatment can be performed in areas of thinning or receding hair to stimulate the supply of blood and nutrients back to the hair follicles, thereby stimulating growth. PRP is also used as an injectable filler alternative for treatment of wrinkles and volume loss. It is also used as a glide in combination with microneedling.

Microneedling with PRP is used for skin rejuvenation, acne scarring and for the skin's overall texture and tone. When using PRP with microneedling it allows for faster wound healing .
Hyperpigmentation: Caused by various types of skin trauma such as acne, scarring and medical conditions. These conditions can result in dark spots that develop from wound healing. We offer a variety of treatment options and skin care products to improve the appearance of hyperpigmentation. Our skin specialists will address these concerns and discuss the best treatments options for you.
Keloids: Thick, raised scars that can occur randomly due to trauma to the skin or cutting in to the skin, such as with an incision during surgery. Our Board-Certified Dermatologist and physician assistants offer a variety of treatment options for scarring that they will discuss with you at your visit.
Melasma: A skin condition that causes patches and spots of discoloration, typically scattered throughout the face. This discoloration is darker than your natural skin tone. The condition can occur during pregnancy or while taking oral contraceptives. There are many treatment options we provide for treating Melasma, such as topical skin brighteners and bleaching agents, laser therapy and chemical peels.

It is best to book a consultation for a thorough examination of the skin to provide the best treatment approach for this condition.
